Thousands visit the Beverley Festival of Christmas
The Beverley Festival of Christmas was a huge success with thousands of visitors attending the event on Sunday 11th December 2011. Over 50,000 people turned up, despite the poor weather in the afternoon. Traders are extremely happy with the event and are looking forward to 2012 festival.

More people than ever attend the British Open Darts Championships
The weekend of the the 16th September 2011 showcased the British Open Darts Championships at The Spa, Bridlington. Nearly 2000 people attended the Royal Hall and Balcony to watch the staged semi-finals and finals for the mens and womens events.
EY Events are extremely pleased with the turnout for this event, and hopefully this will be repeated as next year, the event is anticipated to be bigger and better then ever before.

WINMAU World Masters success with ESPN
The recent Winmau world Masters, held at Hull Arena has had a great deal of positive feedback from the new television company ESPN. The tournament, which was aired on the ESPN network included coverage in the UK and Europe. This championship shows much promise to continue to expand and be well recognised. This new boost from ESPN has exceded expectations by showing more hours of live darts footage than ever before.
Dates and venue information for the WINMAU World Masters 2012 will be released in due course, after discussions with BDO and ESPN have taken place.

The Beverley Festival of Christmas now has its own website, showing sepcific information about the day. There is a section for stall holders to book and to find out where they will be placed on the day.

EY Events finds it (Northern) Soul
Another major coup for East Yorkshire Events Bureau has recently seen a deal to support and sponsor the Northern Soul Weekender held 24th to 26th June 2011 at the Spa, Bridlington.
The agreement has been signed to hold this hugely popular event in for a further 5 years and will enable the weekend to grow and develop.
It also adds another top class music weekend to ey events’ ever increasing and varied programme. With events such as Driffield Folk Festival, Tribfest and now the Northern Soul Weekender, East Yorkshire music lovers have never had a wider choice of quality musical events.
