Once you are here the East Riding of Yorkshire is a great place to get around. With a full network of public transport as well as car, taxi and cycle hire visitors have no problem in exploring the varied and wonderful delights that the area has to offer.

For all your local public transport enquiries call Traveline on 0871 200 22 33 or, for the hearing impaired, call the Textphone number on 0870 241 2216. Lines are open 7am-8pm daily (excluding Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year‘s Day).

Bus Services

Bus services in and around East Yorkshire are plentiful and frequent. There are a wide variety of special travel tickets available including a Day Rover or anywhere tickets for unlimited travel.

East Yorkshire Motor Services (EYMS) operate bus services throughout East Yorkshire and into Hull and North Yorkshire. For up to date information and timetables call EYMS on 01482 222222.

Cycle

An extremely enjoyable and rewarding way to experience the East Riding of Yorkshire is on a bicycle. Cycle Maps have been produced and help provide useful guides for planning safe cycling journeys in Beverley, Pocklington and between neighbouring villages.
