Tidal Waves Beach Festival

Tidal Waves is a two-day beach festival, taking place on Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June on South Cliff beach in Bridlington. The extensive list of performers includes Seafret, headlining on the Friday night, and four headliners on the Saturday - The Pigeon Detectives, The Hoosiers, Reverend and the Makers and Toploader.

International trance act Enigma UK opens the festival on the Friday evening; sharing billing with the renowned local folk duo, Seafret. Also appearing will be UK Unsigned Songwriter of the Year 2016 and pop-country Gracie Falls;  indie and Brit-pop group Capital Eye;  alternative female-fronted guitar band The Brontes; and local singer/songwriter Jack Parker.

Saturday's programme will see The Pigeon Detectives, The Hoosiers, Reverend and the Makers and Toploader supported by local rock group Big Me; Hull-based alternative ska-core band Counting Coins;  Bridlington's three-piece soulful mod group Page 45;  rock, blues and indie group from Hull The Raywells;  four-piece guitar-driven post-rock indie pop band Vague; and  Louder than Life, an audience-participation samba and kettle-drum group, will also add to the mix during the event.

Ticket prices are as follows:

  • Full weekend adult tickets are priced at £50 for adults, or £30 for children (aged 14-17) and also for students in full time education, on production of their valid NUS card.
  • One child aged 13 and under can go free with each paying adult.
  • For the Friday night only, tickets cost £16.
  • For the Saturday night only, the adult ticket is £38 and the child ticket (14-17) is £20.
