Now in its sixth year, Cornucopia Music and Arts Festival is going from strength to strength with this years line up proving to be the best yet! Held on the elegant grounds of Burton Constable Hall, the three day fun-filled festival will be showcasing many of the best acts on the festival circuit.
Throughout the weekend become immersed in world music by the incredible Kanda Bongo Man who is flying in exclusively from South Africa, Varldens Band just in from their American tour plus Electric Swing Circus and Holy Moly and The Crackers fresh from this year’s Glastonbury Festival. Plus, Andy Fairweather Low and The Low Riders, Buffalo Skinners, Demon Barbers XL, Aynsley Lister and many more will be performing on the Barn Stage across the festival, along with critically acclaimed comedian Tom Binns, aka Ivan Brackenbury, the hospital DJ from BBC1s Hospital People.
The festival isn’t just about the music either, with plenty of activities for the full family to get involved in from theatre workshops to shows for the little ones, the festival is proving to be a very fun-filled yet relaxing weekend! There’s even the opportunity to taste new foods including vegetarian and vegan offerings from the likes of Handheld Food Co, Street Cleaver, The Crepe Company, Pizza Dreams, Rendezvous 54 and many more; plus plenty of real ale offerings from brewers Atom Beer, All Hallows, Yorkshire Brewing Co, Wold Top, Brass Castle and Great Newsome. The Cornucopia Indian Summer ale brewed by Great Newsome will also be on sale over the course of the weekend.
To celebrate the theme of light this year, luxurious hot air balloons will be a feature at this years festival, gather around as the sun sets revealing the night skies for a beautiful light show.
