Beverley Festival of Christmas

Beverley Town Centre

Sunday 10 December 2017

Free to spectate

Now in its 22nd year the award winning Beverley Festival of Christmas has grown from a small affair with just a handful of stalls to what is now one of the largest events in East Yorkshire and one of the biggest one day Christmas festivals in the country.

2016 saw the introduction of stalls in both North Bar and at the new Flemingate centre, extending the festival the entire length of Beverley town centre.

The event is held annually on the second Sunday of December around the historic town centre of Beverley in the heart of East Yorkshire. The festival offers a Victorian Christmas market with over 120 stalls selling a wide selection of colourful crafts, festive gifts and speciality seasonal foods. A unique atmosphere is created by the Victorian themed costumes, seasonal decorations, traditional fun fair rides and a huge variety of street entertainment right across the town.

The 2016 event attracted  a record 60,000 people from all over the country with visitors, stallholders, the press and local media all hailing Beverley’s Festival of Christmas as the best yet. The event’s success is not only reflected in the continued growth of visitor numbers but has also been acknowledged by picking up the Remarkable Tourism Award for event of the year 2012 and 2013 and was a finalist in 2014 and 2015.

We look forward to seeing you at the event this year. Wrap up warm and prepare to feel very festive!
