Beverley Festival of Christmas

Beverley Town Centre

Sunday 9th December 2012

10am - 4pm

Free to Spectate

Now in its 16th year Beverley’s Festival of Christmas has grown from a small affair with just a handful of stalls to what is now one of the largest events in East Yorkshire and one of the biggest one day Christmas festivals in the country.

The event is held on the second Sunday of December around the historic town centre of Beverley in the heart of East Yorkshire. The festival offers a Christmas market with over 100 stalls selling a wide selection of colourful crafts, festive gifts and speciality seasonal foods. A unique atmosphere is created by the Victorian themed costumes, seasonal decorations, traditional fun fair rides and a huge variety of street entertainment right across the town.

The 2010 event attracted over 50,000 people from all over the country with visitors, stallholders, the press and local media all hailing Beverley’s Festival of Christmas as the best yet. The event’s success is not only reflected in the continued growth of visitor numbers but also the increasing demand for stalls. With plans in place to make the 2011 event even bigger and better stallholders are encouraged to book their space quickly to avoid any disappointment.
